The extensive garden behind the hotel provides a peaceful and picturesque setting, with a lovely pond adding to its charm. the rooms, although small, are clean and equipped with necessary amenities such as a digital TV and a decent-sized cupboard. the staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. the cooked breakfast is generous, with a wide variety of options to choose from. For a budget stay, the hotel offers great value for money.
The hotel lacks proper lighting in the corridors, giving it a slightly dingy and spooky feel.

The location was adjacent to everything we wanted to do. There was the bay and gardens not far from the place👍🙂🙂

At the late time we checked in there was no dinner available. A guy at the bar helped us order take away and that worked out nice! Breakfast was tasty!

Attending my cousins Wedding and had booked 2 rooms.. I telephoned the hotel to let them know we would be arriving very late at night and this was not a problem. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and staff very efficient and polite we were made very welcome. We asked if we could have an extension on our check out time in the morning as due to our late arrival the night before we were yet again running out of time....We had an extra hour which we were very grateful for....It allowed us to enjoy our beautiful cooked breakfast....I would not hesitate to stay in the Glenfarg Hotel on another occasion.

Value for money was good. the room was spacious and clean. the restaurant had great food which was good value. It was also conveniently located near my business meeting.
The decor was outdated with poor lighting in the corridors and the tap water was brown. the showers were not very powerful too.

Easy access to the Edinburgh Airport.
Nothing to do in the town - at all.... You have to go to anothet town to experience something.

Reservation not confirmed when arrived, need to argue about the reservation, room not clean, shower broken... My recommendation will be easy and simple: find something else...

The hotel had a rustic charm to it and was situated in a quiet village. The staff were friendly and the food was reasonably priced and tasty.
The room was very basic and had no phone or wifi. The bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom was outdated.

The food was excellent and plentiful.
The beds were very uncomfortable extremely hard and had blankets which activated an allergy instead of duvets. I can't remember when I last slept in a bed with blankets. The ensuite was very dated and the hot water in the shower was only just lukewarm.

Friendliness of the staff, good food (top quality steaks), and a quiet, relaxing lounge area. Also the hotel is very dog friendly. Coco loved all the attention!
Like so many hotels it could do with improvements, but in this financial climate the owners have their priorities correct; first attract the guests and look after their needs. I shall be back.

Good atmophere and value for money, staff were good and helpful.
Whilst the internet was available couldn't access it during my stay a security problem? Internet is a necessity when on business trips.

The staff were amazingly friendly, and the rooms were a good size, clean, with comfortable beds. Would definitely stay there again.
The shower was a little small if you're on the bigger side, but I'm just being picky as to answer the question. I couldn't find very much to fault at all
